An hour by car from my home there’s the best village I’ve ever been before. You can arrive there by car or bus, and there’s a train station 6 kilometres on foot. It’s called Castellví de Rosanes, and it’s a historical village which has an old castle which was one of the most important castles of Catalonia.
It’s a big village, but there aren’t many villagers in the village. The greater part of the village is a big forest where you can relax and see fantastic trees and animals. There aren’t any waterfalls or rivers, but there was one long time ago. It also has a rock where people can climb or go to on foot, and every 11th of September all the villagers who want it, could go to the peak of the rock, which is on the top of the mountain, to sing the Catalonia’s anthem “ Els segadors”. The first time I arrived to the peak was when I was 8 years old. Before this day my parents had forbidden me to climb there, because it was very dangerous for children. It’s a very peaceful place, and you can see all the centre of the village from there.
Castellví is a very friendly place, and the people are extremely nice,
when you know them. There are less young people than in a town, so the teenagers go together, although there’s a difference of ages. I’ve gone with people who were 18 years old while the others only were 12. They teach you to know about the true meaning of friendship and have a good time. There are 4 housing developments in Castellví, and the teenagers from all this four housing developments come together to a local which is only for teenagers. There we have a television, a Play Station, a sofa and many chairs and tables, and we can stay there until two or three o’clock in the morning (am). All of the teenagers collaborate to clean it up and to bring new things as good as we can to this local, because it’s extremely special for us. We’ve never had a place where stay without adults and have a good time.

I have a lot of friends there too, and we always go to the swimming pool in the afternoon. That’s because I think it’s one of the best villages where I’ve been before.
